Message V1209 appearing after entering EAN code

Hi,

I'm facing a strange issue with the message V1209 (carry out new pricing). I enter a sales order in two ways (material determination is maintained for EAN in VD51):

1. enter EAN code --> enter quantity --> press "Enter" --> no message appears

2. enter EAN code --> press "Enter" --> enter quantity --> press "Enter" --> message V1209 appears

I'm wondering why V1209 only appears in option 2.

Is there a way to deny that message at all?

Background: we are using cash sales BV where the items are scanned with a barcode scanner. The scanner scans the barcode and confirms with return. Thats why the quantity has to be entered in second step.

Regards.

chris

Thx for reply,

not sure if this is an error, I am only wondering why I have a different system behaviour for the same process.

The problem is, that during a cash sales process, the cashier has to confirm the popup for everly single item, and that is annoying...

With "where used" in SE91 you can easily see this message is hardcoded with type 'I', so this is not configurable. You could use the debugger to find where exactly it occurs in your scenario and why.

If you feel there is an error in standard SAP - search for the notes and contact SAP Support if none is found.
