If someone asks me what is the interface u worked on...

Hi,
communication channel is the physical connection for adapters to communicate to the systems (within or outside your landscape)
So if u want to say about Interface then U can say file to file, file to idoc, idoc to file etc.Interface is nothing but which acts as a gateway between systems.

Hi
>>If someone asks me what is the interface u worked on...

--- What they want is what are the scenario's you worked on
Like list of all the scenario's
--- You can give the list of all the Scenario's
Sender to Receiver
eg:
FTP(file) to SAP R/3 (Idoc)
SAP CRM(BDOC) to RDBMS(JDBC)
-
etc.............
>> is it a communication channel ?
No ....it is not a communication channel
scenario includes who is the sender and what is the target
I hope this will answer your question

Hi,
Actually Interfaces are used to integrate two comonents using SAP XI.
Interface is used to communicate between two components . But in your case, what type of scenarios you worked that is the meaning , so tell about those you worked on.
No ,this is not a Communication channel.

you use a communication channel to define the type and configuration of the adapter used during inbound or outbound processing. A communication channel also contains additional details about message exchange, for example, which identification scheme to use to identify the communication party. it refernces to the adapters u use for configuration.
