Does anyone know where I can find the MDK tutorial definingsyncbo.html which was available at media.sdn.com. The link does not seem to work anymore.
Thanks,
Mahwish
Hi Mahwish
You can probably find it in the following link. https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/21eba3a7-0601-0010-b982-92f...

Hi Mahwish
I am not sure why permission error is shown since this is an SDN link. Probably you can write a mail to SDN team (sdn@sap.com) and find out. In the meanwhile, if you have a NetWeaver Developer Studio, the entire MDK documentation will be available in the menu Help -> Help Contents->SAP Mobile Development Kit. BTW i tried the URL https://media.sdn.sap.com/public/html/submitted_docs/MI/MDK_2.5/content/tutorials/smartsync/defining... and it seems to work perfectly. Hope this helps

Thanks Sivakumar, perhaps the media.sdn.sap.com link was temporarily down because I am now able to access it also. I looked through the tutorial which is on creating a syncbo on the backend. Are you aware of any documentation/help on how to create a local syncbo. I know that I can define the local syncbo in the meRepMeta.xml file. But how does it get filled with data. I just want to be able to read data from a db2e table/file installed on the client into the local synbo and output it to a flat file. Your help is appreciated.

Hi Mahwish
Good to hear that the link worked and thanks for the points. Regarding your query i did find some links but not exactly sure whether this is the actual one you are referring to but might help you.
