Hi Bpc Friends
We have BPC 10 cpm 801 sp11 and we want to upgrade to have the compatibility with Office 2016.
The possible scenarios are:
1) upgrade BPC 10 to cpm 801 sp 17
2) upgrade to BPC 10.1
What do you recommend?
Has anyone upgraded from 10 to 10.1?
Which activities are involved to upgrade to BPC 10.1?
Thanks
Michele
"We have BPC 10 cpm 801 sp11 and we want to upgrade to have the compatibility with Office 2016." - strange reason for upgrade...
What issues do you have with EPM on Office 2016????
In general first I will prefer to upgrade BPC 10 to cpm 801 sp 17
And then to 10.1 including BW upgrade to 7.50 were BPC 10.1 is already included.

thanks Vadim.
The basis team leader is planning the upgrade, we don't have Office 2016 yet.
He will proposes the BPC 10 SP 17 and the BPC 10.1
For BPC 10.1 is BW 7.5 mandatory? we will use the classic model not the embedded
If we upgrade to BPC 10.1 we need to create from scratch all the BPFs?
Thanks
Michele
"The basis team leader is planning the upgrade, we don't have Office 2016 yet." - I am using Office 2016 with old versions of BPC without issues. It's not a real reason for upgrade.
I do not recommend to upgrade to the latest SP of 10.1 in a single step. A lot of changes...
May be it's better to upgrade to the latest SP of BPC 10 and then - to BPC 10.1.
BW7.50 is not mandatory but to my mind now it's better to use it.
thanks Vadim
I will let him know that we don't need to upgrade so we can keep this version of bpc for the moment.
Because they are also thinking to migrate from bw 7.3 to bw 7.5 could be good at that point to migrate to bpc 10.1?
Let me know your thoughts, they will be very helpful for me
Thanks
Michele
EPM version used?
At least EPM 25 is working fine on Office 2016, I have used it myself.
