Hi All,

Portal 6.0 Selecting ESS, I getting Error Message "ErrorCode:ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-l:E-i:sapecc50_ECC_00-v:0-s:404-r:Notfound'. Please help me out get out from this error.

Hi Mohan

It seems that there is a misunderstanding concerning the requirements for business package ESS. It will result in such error in the protal. Please see the note 758035:

In principle, it is possible to use ITS-based ESS services in mySAP ERP

2004 for the reasons mentioned above.

However, the following restrictions apply:

In mySAP ERP 2004, SAP ESS services that are based on ITS technology are

only supported on a standalone ITS Version 6.20. The standard system

does not support use on ITS Version 6.40 integrated in WAS 6.40.

You should only use ITS-based ESS services in mySAP ERP 2004 as an

interim solution. For future releases, we intend to convert further ESS

services to Web Dynpro (Java) or to replace them with alternative SAP

products. For this purpose, see Note 870126 'ITS-based ESS services in

ERP2005'.

Note that the ESS Business Package (mySAP ERP2004) does not contain

ITS-based ESS applications. If you want to use ITS-based scenarios, you

can use ESS Business Package 4.6C/4.7.
