Status MEN of the userinterface MENUBBPO missing

Hi,

we did an upgrade to SRM 5.0 (WAS700, SAPKIBKT07). On the EBP webfrontend after login, we get a message:

"Status MEN of the userinterface MENUBBPO missing".

This message occurs eg when clicking Shopping Cart Wizard or Status or any other Shopping Link.

This message appears in the GUI, too - here straight after login.

Any ideas welcome,

regards, matthias

Hi Atul,

seems you're the only one to respond to my SDN messages

regarding this problem... there is nothing more I can tell.

This message appears in our Q-system, but this weekend we do the productive upgrade...

I was trying if via SE80 I have a chance to look for a status called MEN or for a dynpro or anything called MENUBBPO. But you can't simply look for a status...

In the GUI, the detail message is:

Status MEN of the user interface MENUBBPO missing

Message no. 00264

Diagnosis

The specified GUI status either does not exist or was not generated.

Procedure

Use the Menu Painter to check whether the status required actually exists. If it does, then generate the interface MENUBBPO (using the Menu Painter).

I also tried transaction se43 and se41 to find something useful...

Hi

Seems to me like some support patch went missing [BASIS Issue ] while upgrading (Refer Tcode- SPAM ) and provide me details of the support packs installed in your system.

Alternatively, note down what is the support package in your Production system, Incase this problem is not happening there.

Moreover, raise a customer message with SAP as well.

Do let me know.

Hope this will help.

So far we've got Test and Q-System up.

Here is the SP Level from the Test System (which is ok):

SAP_ABA 700 0010 SAPKA70010

SAP_BASIS 700 0010 SAPKB70010

PI_BASIS 2005_1_700 0010 SAPKIPYJ7A

ST-PI 2005_1_700 0002 SAPKITLQI2

SAP_BW 700 0010 SAPKW70010

SAP_AP 700 0007 SAPKNA7007

SRM_PLUS 550 0007 SAPKIBK007

SRM_SERVER 550 0007 SAPKIBKT07

I had a look at the values of the Q-System - they are the same. In fact the only difference I noticed is, that in Q we have one more entry one node:

SAP_OCS Spam Saint Update - this misses in the T-System.

not very helpful I guess....

Hi Matthias

The message 00 264 is a generic message resulting out of incorrect/insufficient parameter settings in Java or WAS.

Suggest you to raise a OSS message and check with the local support.

I assume, you have shutdown the server and restarted after getting this message. Sometimes, starting from scratch (don't know the logic) help.

Best regards

Hi,

this does not cause short dumps - it's merely a stupid alert message, which we simply ignored. but ok, i shall open an oss call for that.

kind regards,

matthias

hi,

the error was due to the parameter start_menu in the default-profile...

our basis did a correction.

thanx anyway,
