add another unit of measure field in Material Master (MM01) ?

Hello,

We have a 'unit of measure' field in Material Master (MM01) which displays the unit measure(ex: in Meters). Now the scenario is that we also have to convert the meters into KG. Can we add another field in Material Master - Basic Data screen, just like the 'unit of measure' in which we can see the converted unit of measure.

Is this possible ?

Hi,

You can define any number of alternate unit of Measures in Material amster itself;

Go to Material master (MM02/03)

BBasic Data1 -> press Additional data

Goto Unit of Measures Tabstrip.

Here you can define any number of Units which are stored in MARM table.

Helllo.

i want to have another unit of measure field in which i can see the converted UOM, i.e if the original UOM is in meters, so i have to add another field in basic data in which i can see the UOM in KM's also(after conversion and calculating)
