FPM Develepment :Error in defining a generic Cc in App properties - NW04s

Hi ,

I am developing a custom component using the FPM framework in ERP 2005.

In Application properties , if i define the properties related to Configuration component as my Cc , the application works fine.

But as per ERP 2005, it is mentioned that we have to define the generic Cc in application properties. (sap.com/pcui_gp~xssutils).If i do this , i get an "NullPointerException" . This error seems to occur when it tries to load the component. What am i missing here.

And what should be defined for sap.xss.BaseConfiguration. I have come across a post saying there is a seperate "cfg " component for standard DCs .. which has these properties defined.

It would be immensely helpful , if someone could throw light on this..

have you posted this in one of the ERP forums (ERP2005 Upgrade?) ?

Your question looks rather specific to ERP, not to JDI in general so you might get better answers there.

Hi Mark,

It is not related to ERP upgrade. I am developing the component in Nw04s(ERP 2005)

It is more specific to FPM components. I guess , i have to post it in ERP-HCM/WebDynpro.. there are no specific forums for FPM as such..
