DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_REQUEST Program SAPMSYST FILL_INFO_TAB line 255

Hi All

I am trying to install on a non network pc on windows XP pro. SP2.

I have configured the loopback adapter IP adress as 10.10.0.1

My pc name is "localhost"

The host file entry is

127.0.0.1 localhost

10.10.0.1 NSP

The maxDB installs ok. After installing the SAP GUI which came with the download, I get an error when trying to logon.

" Invalid request was made to the SAP database Interface in a statement in which the table "DOKTL" was accessed. "

I tried in vain to resolve this , there are few people who had similar problems. But I am not sure how they managed to resolve it.

Please can someone help , so I can logon and start using the trial version.

you specified host file entry as

<b>127.0.0.1 localhost

10.10.0.1 NSP

and pc name is "localhost"</b>

as per as my knowledge host file enry should be like this

IP address host name SAPTRANSHOST

else

IP address host name fullyqualifieddomian name

Hi Mushtaqur,

As pointed out by Samrat trying inducing the value

IP address host name fullyqualifieddomian name

in your host file. The link I had given also indicates that.

Many thanks for your reply. I have chencked all the links , but I cannot find any answer to my error. DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_REQUEST Program SAPMSYST FILL_INFO_TAB line 2556. ( 2556 is the correct line number )

Please can you help any fuurther .
