Multiple data source, multiple infopackages - usage

Hello,

Could you tell me please when I should to use 2 infopackages linked to one data source? What is the best practice?

e.g. I have 2 files, let's say a.txt and b.txt both of them have the same structure and I want to load it into DSO.

So first of all I'm creating datasource (DS1) then I linked the file path to a.txt then I create infopackage(IP1) with a.txt file path.

Ok, now I want to load b.txt so the question is: should I create a new data source(DS2) or should I linked it to data source(DS1, because the structure of these 2 files are the same)?

To sum up, which way is better to use, and why? 🙂
IP1, IP2 -> DS1-> DSO
or
IP 1 -> DS1->DSO
IP 2 -> DS2->DSO

Cheers,

Adam

Hi,

If two files and DS1 structures are same, no need to have DS2.
