Is it possible to change InfoCube technical name/rename it?
Thank you,
AG
no you cant rename the technical name but the system does allow you to change the description. The only work around is to copy the cube and rename it.

Create a new cube using the current one as the template. Create Export DS and update rules, load data into the new cube. Re-assing the data source to the new cube and delete the old cube.

I think no possibility to rename the technical name since it's such a 'key field'.
if not in production yet and no data and the 'afterward' not too much (reporting related, multiprovider), you may consider to copy the cube to the name you want, then copy update rules (this can be easy done), and copy queries.
Hope it helps.

I do not think you can do it straight away. However, you could create a new cube (copy of the cube) with the name you want and then load the data to the new cube from the old cube - one on one.
