Material Master Description Change

Dear friends,

Client wants the material master "Description" should not be allowed to be changed by the end users while creating PR/PO i.e 'description' should be in grey mode.If absolutely required, it should be allowed thro' MM02 only.We are in ECC 5.

I request the experts to give the solution.
