Imported objects not visible

Hi,

We have to import some namespaces from one XI server to another.

when i try importing into the target server i get information that the import was successful but i cannot see the imported objects.

When i use the find transports option to view the objects that were imported im am able to see all my design objects.

The cache notifications also indicate that the transport was successful.

Am i missing out on something? What could be the possible reason for this behavior?

One more thing clarification i want, is regarding exporting namespaces.

is it possible to export individual namespaces?

Im posting this question because even when i chose to export individual namespaces rather than the SWCV itself , still we got the entire SWCV and not the individual namespace.

Please give your inputs regarding this.

If you have imported the namespaces and not the SWCV, you will need to go to a SWCV, insert the namespace there and your objects probably will be there.

I hope this helps!

Hi Roberti,

I already have the SWCV in place. All i have to do is upddate some more namespaces to the existing one.So it is required that i move only the namespace.

But this does not work! There is absolutely no change even though the cache says that 87 objects were successfully imported

Hi Sivasathi,

in target XI system.....in IR.....go to Envirorment->cache notifications->see the cache status.......also clear SLD data cache......from SXI_CACHE transaction, do a cache refresh..........then you may see your namespaces in your SWCV.

Thanks,
