Planning function for file upload - upload full cube backup

Hi experts,

I have downloaded full Infocube backup to CSV file.

There are about 52 fields, majority is InfoObjects, but there are following 4 system fields, those causing me trouble when I am creating the Plan. function to upload that CSV backup file back to the InfoCube.

ATIMSTMP AUSER AMODE ASOURCE

Basically I cannot select them in FILEFORMAT for planning function because they are not InfoObjects.

How can I then setup a working Plan function?

Hi Tomas,

the fields you mention are InfoObjects (you have to add 0 before ATIMSTMP, etc.) but these fields correspond to the 'audit feature' (i.e. the BW audit dimension) and are filled by the system when WHM processes or planning write new delta records. To upload a file that contains these fields is not possible, you have to delete all 'columns' corresponding to these four InfoObjects).

Hi Gregor,

could you please advise me once more, now I am having a trouble with client/mandt field...

I want to upload full backup of InfoCube to the system, I am getting this error message when running a plan sequence:

I am uploading a csv file downloaded from system, picked one line a changed a key figure to test the upload. Regarding the error I tried to enter in excel 10,010 change it to textto number, but there is no way forward.

File Upload: Data conversion error Check if character format (encoding) is correct: DEFAULT

Hi Tomas,

check the data format of 0MANDT, it is a NUMC3 field, i.e. instead of 10 you have to use 010.
