How can I do the Change Position action not through PA40?

Hi Andre really weird requirement as Change position is always employee related hence suggest you to do it via PA40 actions but you may still try PP01, PP02 or PO13 and PPOME.

try t-CODE P013 for maintaining position GIVE THE plan and make what you wann to change

Hi,

it is not necessary to use PPOME.

If you are working with PA/PD integration - table T77S0, entry PLOGI/PLOGI = 01 - then you can create a so called personnel action, in which you embedd the change of infotype 0001. That is the best way, because after finishing the action the org.management will be updated automatically.

if i understand ur requirement correcly..u want to change the position of an employee without it being reflected in Actions overview..thats why u dont want to run an action...am i right? in which case u cannot change the position without running an action.

correct me if i am wrong friends...
