asset creation

Hi

I guess asset can be created thru capital investment order. I have defined one capital investment order and defined one asset class as investment measure. Now my question is how to create asset thru that order

Hello,

The settlement receiver would be based on transaction, for ex: if you want to settle it to fixed assets, then, you should select category type FXA and mention asset number in the receiver column in the settlement rule, like this you can settle the cost to various categories like G/L A/c, Cost center, Order, WBS element etc.

Hello,

Through Investment order automatically you can create AuC.

For this you need to define in asset class "AuC investment measure" here select status of AuC "Investment measure" and you need to define Investment profile and select "Manage AuC" under Investment measure tab. Assign this Investment profile to Internal order Master data under Investment tab.

After the above steps create a order which will create the AuC automatically.

Ok now i have to collect cost on that IO and then later on settle it, right ? But what could be the settlement receiver. please guide me

Hello

You indicate possible receivers in the settlement profile. Inn IMG:

Controlling > Internal Orders > Actual Postings > Settlement > Maintain Settlement Profiles

Hi

when you create a asset class, asset under such asset class can be created only through PS module. You cannot manullay create asset master through AS01.

When you create project and WBS and release the WBS system automatically create the asset. The asset master created with investment measure may be AUC.
