How to include external subcon fees in production order

Hi all,

We have subcontracting scenario where we will send out semi finished goods to subcontractor and received back as finished goods. How to include the subcon fees in the production order? We do not want to charge the subcon fees as overhead in the cost center.

Dear DK,

The blog here mentions the subcontracting process and is largely focused on the logistics aspect of subcontracting. There are some concerns in the costing aspect of it. This is currently being checked with FIN experts in the ByD community. I will keep you updated on the same and let you know if there needs to be any changes done. via updating the existing blog or if required via an update in a new blog.

Hi Anand,

Thank you for your answer. Hope that the subcontracting process can be introduced in ByD in the upcoming release. This is a big concern for manufacturing company with subcontracting process. We are looking for workaround to cover the gap, especially the part related to costing.
