Crystal Report 2011 ntdll.dll CRASH

Hi everyone,

we are using Crystal Report since 4 years now. Since 2 weeks, I have some crash with it with only one report.

This report was created and has been used since the beginning (around 4 years) and is important for our production service.

The crash occured when there is a lot of data (more than 2000 records) retrieved from our database where CR is building the report close to the end. With less record, there isn't any problem.

The problem seems to come from the ntdll.dll file.

Two situations :

- crash from Crystal Report Viewer on TSE server runing on Windows Server 2008 R2 on a VM with VMWare.

- crash from Crystal Report Designer on my latop runing Windows 7 Pro 64bits

We are using an oracle database. We are in the process of moving our VM and the problem start when we moved our database VM running on Red Hat Linux Server.

I already update my CR version with the last SP and tried to replace the ntdll.dll with another version found on my computer. Maybe I made a mistake but nothing worked.

Is someone as an idea or at least can help me debug this problem ?

Best Regards.

Hello,

Go here and download all of the incremental patches, you have to apply each one

https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/patch_download/main_public.htm

If the link does not work click on the Products tab above and find Crystal Reports and then find the downloads.

Once you have updated CR Designer test again, open the report and Verify database and then save it.

Also need to know what DB client you are using? Have you tried the OLE DB or ODBC or CR Native Oracle?
