B1iF Wrong sender system to successor step

We have a scenario package with steps executed as predecessor/successor, where the sender is one (of several possible) B1 system and the receiver can be one or more B1 systems (same as sender or a different one). The receiver is defined by a receiver filter in the setup for both the predecessor and the successor.

This has worked fine until now when we moved this package to the latest version of B1iF (1.22.10) shipped with SAP B1 PL 07 Hotfix 1.

Right now the sender system to the successor step is set to the system which have the lowest system id in the list of possible senders, which is not always the case.

In earlier versions of the B1iF (1.22.4) that we have installed and have running integration packages in, the sender system to the successor is set to the same as the sender to the predecessor, but in the latest version, the sender system is set as described above.

This leads to a failing receiver filter and also the setting of the system id for our sql atoms points to the wrong B1 system in the successor step, which means we get our data from the wrong database.

Does anyone know if this behaviour can be altered by a parameter somewhere in the framework, or is it a bug that needs to be fixed in a later release? For some reason it's not possible to set a sender filter for a successor step in the filter setup, and all selected sender systems are selected in a disabled check box.
