Hello,

is there a possibility to control web service consumption in C4C on a granular basis in C4C?

Requirement is that a web service (to update an external system) should be called once the status of a work ticket is changed. So the web service should only be consumed when the value of the status field is changed, but not when any of the other fields are updated. Is there are possibility to achieve this using the standard BO?

Thank you for your help & feedback

Hi Florian Guppenberger ,

I have quite a similar requirement.

From point 1) of the Best answer

1) Create an action in the ServiceRequest.xbo to consume the external webservice : Is it correct to say that in this case, there is no HCI iflow required ? Did you consume the external webservice fully in SDK or used HCI too ?

Can you please advice what was your approach ?

Many thanks.

Regards

Suchita

Hi there.

You can achieve via absl coding (via studio) + workflow:

1) Create an action in the ServiceRequest.xbo to consume the external webservice.

2) Create a workflow to be executed on every save of the service request object and checks if the status field has changed. Then, execute the action.

Best regards.

Alexandre.
