Change Keyboard layout?

Hello,

Can anybody give me some info on keyboard layouts? I logon to a ECC 6.0 system with EN as language. I'm using a different keyboard language however in Windows. Where do I change that in SAP?

Keyboard setting is not application specific, if you have changed keyboard leyout in Windows then has to chagne for all the application which you run until you change it to another layout.

It works in all applications but SAP reverts back to a normal US layout when I logon. Can I check it somewhere in SAP which layout I'm using?

Yes, when you chagne the keyboard layout it will change only to the active application. When you have logged into SAP then you have to change the kayboard language then you can work as selected language.

I changed my keyboard layout in Windows, set it as default and rebooted my pc. All applications that I launch will use this new layout. However SAP does not.

So what should I do? I have removed the US setting from Windows and I'm only using this new layout. Seems to me that it's a setting in SAP somewhere? Will another layout work in SAP when I login with EN language?

it works for me, when I have changed the default language to DE I am able to work as german language in all the application including SAP.

And you logon to SAP with EN as language? You have the german characters from the german keyboard layout?

yes, even i have logged into SAP as EN language.
