Hello All,
Could someone let me know what all kind of transactions can we do by tcode MIGO and in real scenario mainly for what purpose is MIGO used for. I know it is used for goods receipt. But I am confused about one thing, I saw many options there like goods receipt and goods issue. But I also saw inbound delivery, outbound delivery, purchase order and others also. This is not clear to me.
Could someone direct me to breif note or some help and In short can let me know the basic functionality of this tcode.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi,
It appears that you are confused with Movement Types.(MSEG-BWART field)
Based on the movement type( material/Product moving from one place to other) different Material Documents are created and updated in MKPF and MSEG tables through MIGO.
Go to table T156/T156T and see the different Movement types and their texts, based on that different doc's are created using MIGO.
First you will receive the goods from Vendor into your godown(Storage Location)then, it is assigned as 101 movement type.
From here, whenever that Material is moved from Storage location to other uses like GI or for sales or for production or to some other Location etc it will be assigned a different movement type and a different document will be created.
Hope you understood,
Regards,
Anji
