Hi All,
I have 2 HALB materials HALB1 and HALB2, I am loading demand 100 and 200 respectively. HALB2 is a component of HALB1.
Which will be the requirement type or setting I need to use while loading the demand for HALB2 materials so that planned order generated will be the sum of HALB1 and HALB2 PIR. ie - 100+200 = 300.
Once I do MFBF for the HALB1 and consume HALB2 PIR have to be reduced.
Is there any settings to accomblish this scenario ?
Dear Joseph,
Please check the Planning strategy 70 - Planning at assembly level.PIR of assembly get consumed by header material dependent requirement.
Please note that MRP will work from top to bottom i.e from your header material till last level of your BOM.I dont think so that based on lower level MRP will give proposals for upper level.
Regards.
