Performance in XI is depends on:
1) Hardware sizing, Memory setup
2) Design of Interfaces
3) Design of BPM (better to avoid Transformation steps in the BPM if possible)
4) Type of Mapping
5) Volume of data and Frequency of the data.
6) Configuration

Hi Sesha,
you can do performance checking of XI scenarios by going to RWB -> Performance monitoring........
if you see any scenario is taking much time in processing, then you may have to redesign it......eg if your scenario uses BPM and your scenario can be done without BPM, then redesign your scenario and remove BPM from your scenario.
