Does anyone have any information on the Naming conventions for Value Mapping.
For the Agency, and Schema etc...
it is a little confusing as to how exactly these values are grouped together... it seems it is not just one table but that an agency and scheme can be associated with many different agency and schemes...
Maybe if someone could explain the grouping I would be able to make some up myself?

Hi,
If you go through the docs which give you how to build value mapping , there is no pre defined naming convension as such but yes at given in previous response it should be understandable.
So agency and schema can have any random name but it should be meaningful and w.r.t your message.

Abhi

hi
go through this may be it will help u.
Message mappings act as conversion programs between source and target formats. This
means that the most natural way to name them is to use the source and target messages.
The problem is that the name then exceeds the maximum length because to identify the
message type properly, you must use the SWC as the prefix for both the source and target
message.
NAMING
Message Mappings:
Naming - [bpm_]<SourceMsgType#1>[_and_]<SourceMsgType#N>[_to_]<TargetMsgType>.
Example - Customer_to_SelectCustomer
SelectCustomerResp_to_Customers
bpm_InvoiceHeaders_and_InvoicePositions_to_Invoices
Materials_to_MATMAS_MATMAS03
Details - Do not include the software component in the name. Involved software
components are easily determined by the basis object list.
For SAP IDocs replace the dot by an underscore.
