ESS and MSS Business Packages for mySAP ERP 2005.

Hi,

Can you please tell me what are the business package for ESS and MSS to be used for mySAP ERP 2005.

Can i use 50.4 version of business packages or it is compulsary to upgrade the business package in EP5.0?

If you follow the link from https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/contentportfolio to the Product Availablity Matrix for Portal Content, which needs an SAP Market Place logon, which is a table that shows which business package is supported and appropriate for which backend release.

From this you can see that for ERP 2005, you can use either ESS/MSS 1.0 (which confusingly is the latest release!) or 60.1. You would be encouraged to use 1.0.

ESS has an older version (50.4) which is still supported, but it is using old technology and relies on an external ITS which isn't supported with ERP 2005.

EP5.0 should not be used at all any more.
