Register Universal Worklist System

Hi SDN,

I have created a SAP system with load balancing. But when I try to register this system in the Universal Worklist Configuration, I get the following error:

I've tested the system and know it connects to the backend system, but is there anyway to see why it is not connecting to the message server? (If that even is the main problem).

I'm currently using NW2004s.

Greatly appreciate any help on this issue, or ideas on how to troubleshoot it.

When you register a system it does an RFC/JCo call and this is probably the first time this has been done from your portal to the backend system, so things often break.

In your case, the message server port number looks a little strange - it's normally 36xx, whereas you have 32xx. Please change your system landscape entry in the portal and try again.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your reply. You were right, the port number was wrong. When I changed it I got another error that said that logon group PUBLIC were not found. After our basis consultant created this group, it worked
