Asset sale without customer

Hi

When i am trying to do asset sale without customer ,with revenue,Ttype210,system is asking to key in profit center,which is right,normally i am going to account assignment and manually keyin the profit center,then only i can able to post,i want to know how to automate this process,means to derive automatically profit center ,which steps do i need to do,where i need to specify the profit center,which will make the system automatically pick up that profit center.

Hi

You can assign the Profit center in the cost center master. The cost center can be assinged to the asset master. If you would like to default the profit center then you can use OKB9 transaction for this.
