Hi,

We have 7 different types of templates in Query Templates Editor and each is connected to separate connectors according to its use.

TAG Query is connected to TAG Oriented connectors such as Historians and HMI software applications, i.e., it is used to fetch current or historical or statistical data from the Shop floor.

SQL Query is connected to our any database. For example, SQL or Oracle. In real time, when we are fetching data from SAP R/3 and if we want to save it, we will use this server. In the same way for interpolating the values in report we will use this server.

Alarm Query is connected to alarm oriented connectors to access alarm and event management systems. Again these systems will be at Shop floor. For time being we don’t have any server connected to Alarm server.

Similar the case for Aggregate Query. It has its own purpose. It is used to combine the results of multiple Query templates. And for that, SAP as provided a separate connector, i.e. Aggregate Connector.

In the same way, other templates are connected to different connectors according to their use and purpose.
