Depreciation based on Usage

we are currently on ECC 5.0 & using SLM for depreciation.

Based on a category of assets, now we want to depreciate the same on

their usage during a particular month.

For example: we have a asset like Tools whose job is to punch. Say, its

expected to punch 100000 times a year, then based on my actual usage

for a month, i want to depreciate it.

I am not able to find any pre-delivered SAP depr key taking care of

this. I tried using Depr ley "STCK" but couldn't make a headway.

Plz suggest how to do the same thru SAP.

I am having the same problem did you get a soulution? I have made some headway with units of production config. I am stuck because I cannot figure out how the STCK depreciation key will work for several assets. It looks like I need to configure 1 STCK for each asset. This is not plausible with assets in the thousands.
