how to delete change version of SRM Quote

hi all,

some rfx response documents in SRM have got updated wrongly due to bug in a custom program.

I need to delete the change version and go back to previous version

I tried using bapi_srm_doc_delete by giving the guid of the change version. but I am not able to do it.

I have refered to threads

Any type of help is highly appreciated.
