Hello,

i am trying to start a workflow when the status of a document changes to "completed". I was checking the event trace with transaction code : "SWEL" and i found out that the workflow is trying to start but there is some kind of error and the event trace is saying :

Your own logical system has not been defined for this client. Most of the ALE functions therefore cannot be used. No links can be written.

Any suggestiobns on what can be the problem ?

Hi,

Go to transaction " SWu3 " and make sure everything listed under Maintain Runtime Environment are set to active i.e. the check mark should be green in color.

Especially the configure RFC destination should be active for the workflow system to run properly.

Hi Hassan,

You will need to complete your workflow customising for the client. Go to transaction SWUD and click Verify workflow customising. Then select 'Automatic customising'. Finally check using 'Test RFC Destination'.
