Missing Permission for Web Dynpro Content Administrator

Former Member

May I know what role or permission I need to have to be able to access Web Dynpro Content Administrator?

I have included the superadmin role and other Netweaver Admin roles, but I still not able to access the page.

Is that something I need to configure from the Visual Admin?

Thanks for advice.

Kent

Ignacio, I don't think this is related to secure storage password. As if it was the case, I should not able to log into the portal at all.

I am not sure I am right at this.

I am wonder whether I should a new role and do some mapping from the Visual Admin tool (I did this for the post installation of SLD. I created a new role LDRAdmin , then mapped it within the VA)

Thanks.

Hi Kent,

I get access to WD Content Administrator using the Administrator user of J2EE Engine, or a user with J2EE Administrator privileges, in implementations with or without Portal.

Regards,

Ignacio.

Hi Kent C,

You no need to do anything in visual admin for this..

Create any user and just assign it the group Administrators.

Enjoy. It will solve your issue.

Hi Kent,

You need to add the role

'pcd:portal_content/administrator/content_admin/content_admin_role'

to the content admin user.

This should work

Hope this helps

Hi Kent,

You need a user with administrator permissions. Otherise, you are not allowed to start the Web Dynpro Content Administrator.
