SAP MI

Hi,

We have a situation here where we are using a SAP Mobile Infrastructure application, MAU as it happens, over a GPRS network and also over a LAN. The GPRS connection is routed through an ISA server which is on the outside of the firewall in the DMZ.

We find that we have to put in the MI server name / IP address in the host field, when inside the LAN, and put in the ISA server name / IP address when coming in over GPRS. Has anyone come up with a solution to this before. Can the proxy server setting be used to get around it.

Thanks And Regards,

Neha Kapoor

Hi Neha,

We have also faced the similar situation. You can have the proxy servver to connect to MI server via GPRS but if that is a trusted system then u need to put the trustore file on to your MI client settings folder and in settings in MI client u have to use the ip and port of Proxy server which in turn will connect to the Mi server.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
