Not able to create any prg

hi,

I'm getting this message when trying to create a prog in SE38:

Changes to Repository objects are not permitted

this client

Choose 'Display object' or 'Cancel'.

Please tell me why isthis displayed?

    Check with your Basis consultant....It seems client is locked for development.

    probably ur trying to change in other that development clint..

    u can change the programs ony in development client

    hi Shamimkhan,

    The SAP client that you are trying to crerate changes would be a test/ quality/ prodcution client. Which is protected against creation of any objects/change requests.

    You need to create a program in development system. Please check with the concerned system administrator for the same.

    • if u r creating the program as a new object and u r getting this error, could mean that there could be developer key needed. Check with your admin/ Basis gy abt the developer key issues if any developer rights or developer key needs to be assigned to this ur Friend's ID.
