We have Upgraded our SAP ECC 6.0 system from EHP4 to EHP8 , after this LSMW to update in customer master is not working. LSMW shows success but data is not being saved. Please let us know the resolution
Would you care to provide any details? What have you tried so far to troubleshoot this? Not really sure what answers are you expecting with such extremely limited information...

What is expected? It starts already by naming the import method, even we can already assume that you use the term LSMW as synonym for recording as any newbie does, but actually it is a workbench and offers 4 different methods of import.
If you did a recording then you actually produced a batch input, a batch input has a log you could posted information from there, a batch input can be run in foreground and you could follow each step to know where it does different to your expectation.
You could explain in detail what you mean by that "LSMW shows success" .
If you record a transaction and do not save and you run it for 10000 records then it does 10000 times not save but still shows that it ran successfully as it exactly did follow what you recorded.
Also you could explain your subject, you mention EHP4 upgrade to EHP8, does this automatically mean you had an unchanged LSMW which ran wonderful before the upgrade?
