SAP Web IDE don't work properly

Hi all,

I've started to explore Cloud Platform and I wanted to build app from tutorial:

Unfortunately I have always errors after I want to run application in Web IDE.

Unhandled Error: Timeout during method configure of service _repositoryBrowserToolbar
Unhandled Error: n.oProjectDocument is null
and more.....

By the way Web IDE don't work properly. When I am clicking on icons there is no answer from the IDE. Do I need some plugins to run Web IDE correctly? I tried on Firefox and Google Chrome, always the same effect.

Please give me some tips and tricks about SAP Web IDE on SAP Cloud Platform 🙂

Hello Jakub,

I am afraid this sounds very much as if your Internet bandwidth was not sufficient for Web IDE.

Alternatively, you could install yourself a local HANA 2.0, express edition with XSA, that also provides a Web IDE. My respective blogs explains a good setup:
