Request for comment on KM through .NET

I am currently working on a ASP.NET application that utilizes the .NET connector 2.0 to access data stored in our SAP CRM system.

One part of this program involves generating Excel spreasheets that can be shared between many people.

Our plan for sharing these Excel document is to utilize KM on EP6. One option is to simply save the documents to the directory that KM utilizes. Although this will probably work fine I am wondering if there are some APIs available for .NET that would make the saving of these documents more integrated into the whole KM system.

I have poked around in the .NET connector itself and don't see anything there + have searched a bit on help.sap.com without much success.

Anyone out there have some experience with this scenario?

Hello Sheldon,

an idea would be accessing the file behind the KM (direct from the storage) or a second way could be a BAPI that retrieves the document and can be accessed by the SAP-Connector ?

I'm not direct familar with this, so it may be a hint for you.
