Assuming they are created as Floor Stock in ME (not imported / manufactured), Maintain Floor Stock and set the quantity on hand to 0 for one Inv ID and increase it manually for the other?

Andrew.

Thank you Andrew:

In fact: I have a preparation area , and I weld two components to obtain another component . I have to send the new inventory ID to assembly work shop to be traced as time based assembly

Hi Houseem,

Still technically possible to "merge" the Inventory IDs using Maintain Floor Stock and changing the Material, and keeping the same Inventory ID, i.e. merging INVID1 into INVID2.

But it sounds more like you want to create a new Inventory ID, INVID3, for a new Material that consumes the two Inventory IDs as components. Which could be a new Shop Order+BOM+Routing to cover the preparation area, resulting in a Done SFC (which is also an Inventory ID).

Regards,

Andrew.
