Intrastat Data in PO from SRM

We are on SRM 3.0 (BBPCRM 4.0) SP11.

Currently we have intrastat requirements wherein when the intrastat conditions are met the PO should contain the intrastat data (commodity code, country of origin etc.) which will be picked up from R/3 Material master for the material-plant combination in te foreign trade-import tab.

This is happening quite right when we create PO from R/3, but when the PO gets created from SRM, the data is not populated. Even though the config and data is in R/3 side, why is the import tab of the PO coming empty when we create the PO from SRM?

Can anyone give me an idea on this?

Check whether your BAPi in R/3 contains this info.

BAPI_PO_CREATE or BAPI_PO_CREATE1 depending upon the version. You can see more details of these bapi in R/3 Txn BAPI.

If your BAPI contains this data, you can change the data transferred using user exit/BADI.

    Best regards

You can use the enhancement "SAPLMEWP" (EXIT_SAPLMEWP_002) in R/3 for populating the FOREIGN TRADE IMPORT DATA (in the structure PO_ITEM_ADD_DATA) in the PO created thorugh the BAPI "BAPI_PO_CREATE".

You can distinguish the SRM PO's on basis of doc type(DOC_TYPE).

Pls reward points for useful answers.
