Problem creating TO from LU04

Hi Gurus,

While creating a TO for PCN (QM decision) I get the message: "Bin AN0101 does not have sufficient space Message no. L3084".
The storage type is BULK with SU managed.
This happens only if the number of Pals is greater then half size of the Bin.
In a one pal bin - I can't create. In a bin with the size of 7 - I can make it for 3 Pals,
but not for 4 Pals.

Can anyone tell me what is there to be changed?

Thanks

Yola

if you changed capacity check methods and material master usage figures then you should run report RLS10200 to recalculate the occupied capacity in your bin.

Can you show a screenshot of your definition from OMM4 and a screenshot from the storage bin LS03N with its utilization

Hello Jurgen,
Thanks for your reply.
I have no capacity check except for the Bulk structure definitions:

The storage type is defined:

and the Bin looks like that:

and the movement type is defined:

I will be glad if you have any proposal for me to check.

It works good for a small number of SU's in a big Bin, but won't do that for number

of SU's that is greater then half the size of the bin (3 of 7 is OK, 4 of 7 or 1 of 1 - does not work).

Thanks

Yola

I can imagine that SAP does a check for the putaway and finds this bin already occupied as the removal has not yet happened.

the message is issued in program LL03AF96

based on R_KEIN_PLATZ in LL03AF9U

which is a result from the check for the putaway is in LL03AF97

These would in my opinion be the 3 programs to debug to know the exact reason.

A very old OSS note would actually matches with your situation: 126282 - Postng changes in block storage areas w.SU mangmnt

This note was a fix for an incorrect issued L3084 message.

I can't really believe that you are in such an old system that this note is not yet in.
