bdc plz help

sometimes we declare a variable.....eg:- bdc like bdcdata.

why is d above variable used exactly??? what is its exact purpose????

    bdcdata is a structure with fields used in the batchinput simulation (both methods, CALL TRANSACTION and SESSION).

    Hi,

    BDCDATA is the Std structure of the BDC table which has to be filled to ensure the correct Program, correct Screen, correct field will be filled in,

    Its structure is:

    Program, Dynpro, dynbegin, Fname and Fvalue.

    These are nothing but Program name, Screen No, Starting point, Field name and field value.
