I need to generate a report in the GL that shows me only the line items that do not have a cost center associated. If i specify a cost center i am able to get a report resricted to that one cost center. if i leave it blank i get all cost centers and items with no center. i want just the items with no cost center

Double click on the selection field of cost center (you can press F2 also), then choose "Single Value" for the field and leave the field as blank.

Did you set '=' to a parameter and it's still not working?
