Retrieve one BP Card from DB

Hi,

I'm slowly trying to figure out the whole SDK thing and what I am trying to do is be able to pull 1 conact from the SAP DB via the DI API.

I've taken the GetObjectKeyBySingleValue() example from the SDK and trying to make it work for me.

Does this look right?

oRecordSet = oSBObob.GetObjectKeyBySingleValue(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oBusinessPartners, "CardName", txtName.txt, 2)

I am trying to do a search for company names using LIKE and it always returns 0 for the record set.

I am connected to a test database that has a couple of thousand customers in it and I am searching for a company that I know is in it because SAP shows me it.

    Tyler,

    You may want to look at the Using SBObob sample code that comes with the SAP Business One SDK as this will give you examples similar to and/or lead you in the right direction. The "Using SBObob" sample code for Business One 2005A can be located at ...

    ..\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\Samples\COM DI\VB.NET\03.UsingSBObob\2003

    This should be close for the 2005B version as far as being in the same location.

    HTH,

    Eddy
