MD61 data changed by consumption

Hello,

My understanding so far was that the data insert the MD61 screen remain unchanged by the system. The consumption results I thought I would see it only in the MD04 (or MD05 etc) screen.

So please can anyone explain me under which circumstances – planning strategies, customizing etc – the original data in the MD61 screen are changed by consumption.?

I have to specify the strategy I'm using is 40.

    Hello Andrea

    Please observe that the PIR is affected in two different steps.

    Firstly, when you create a sales order, we have the consumption, which is dynamic. That means, consumption will not actually change the PIR quantity and you will see it in transactions such as MD04 and MD73.

    Later, we have the PIR reduction, which takes place when a goods movement is actually posted. In this case, the PIR quantity is physically reduced and you will see this change in MD62.

    In strategy 40,The PIR are consumed by incoming sale order,The important feature of this planning strategy is that you can react quickly to customers requirements.
