how to transfer data from ods to infocube...tel the steps

Hi Prakash,

The steps are:

1. RSA1 -> ODS -> right click -> generate export datasource.

2. Now goto RSA1 -> Infosource -> Data Mart application component you would find a infosource with the technical name 8<your ODS name>

3. Now goto the cube and create the update rules using the infocource 8<your ODS name>.

4. now create the infopackage under the infosource 8<your ODS name> and load the cube.

Prakash,

Right click on the ODS and click on Generate export datasourec. It will generate an infosource with name 8<name of the ODS>, which can be found in the infosource section. While creating update rules for the cubes give the name of the generated export data source.

Now after loading data to ODS, you can click on update data in data targets from teh context menu of the ODS again. This will load data to the cube.

Please make update rules from the ODS to the cube...the export datasource 8<ODSNAME> will be the datasource...and then schedule the data..
