The Business Object Type is like a Class(Which has some attrbutes and methods/events defined).

The Objects for example in this case will be the PO number if the bus type is BUS2012.

For each object that is created through the transaction, there will be an EVENT raised.

This EVENT will in turn be linked to the workflow.

So, whenever a transaction is run to create a business Object(Instance of a Business Object Type), a workflow will be triggered.

The tasks in the work flow are associated with the methods in the business object type. So, in the work flow, different methods will be triggered in different tasks.

    Regards,

    Ravi

    Hi,

Tasks are of Single step and Multi step.

Std tasks and customer are single step ones where as Workflow's are Multi step.

In every single step task you have to assign a Business Object and Method of that object.

WF template consists of multiple tasks.
