Pls. tell me abt. special posting periods, how to open and close special posting periods.

Hi

Special posting periods are used for adjustment postings after the year end.You can use T.code OB52 to open and close any posting periods in FI.

Hi Syed,

Special periods subdivide the year-end closing period. This enables you to create several supplementary financial statements.

Special posting periods can be opened and closed via tcode OB52.

Hi Syed

If you want to open spl posting periods,use transaction OB52 and you will have the columns

From Per.2 Year To Period Year

Fill in the above columns.
