Release Strategy Workflow

Hi all,

I’m facing a problem during customizing the release strategy Workflow for Purchase Requisitions. In release CODE, I’ve set ‘1’ in workflow field that concerns to the information assigned into the table T16FW. On the table of the WF, I assign my user to a specific CODE and Plant, in order to receive the work item information in my SAP Business Workplace. Then, I create the PR and the system generates the release strategy correctly concerning to the Classification and release CODE to me. But, I receive no work item on SAP workplace.

Am I forgetting something? Can someone help me in this issue?

Thank you in advance!

Regards,

Pedro.

Hi paedro,

If it is a "one time only" problem you can forward the workitem to the right user using Transaction: SWIA

Hi paedro,

I think coresponding events are triggered by SAP automatically when you release/create a PR. What you need to do is just do Event Type Linkage of those events with your Workflow .

For this you can use transaction SWETYPV

Also see

Please check the configuration for Release groups (Path SPRO->Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Requisition->Release Procedure->Procedure with Classification->Set up Procedure with Classification->Release Groups). In this, you should check 'OverReqRel'.

Check if you are using workflow template WS20000077 (Workflow for overall release of requisition) with object type 'BUS2105'.

Workflow template WS00000038 (Workflow for requisition release) with object type 'BUS2009', is used for releasing at the item level.

Hi Hareesha,

I've tried everything that you mentioned, inclusively I enter into OOCU transaction in order to activate event linking and assign agents to workflow task. Every task that is related to PR were assign to a General Task. The 'TS' and 'WS' (00000038 and 20000077). After, I went to transaction SWETYPV to check if the activation took place by the other transaction.

Even so, when I convert a planned order into a PR, the system generates the release strategy, but it wont send any work item to my inbox of SAP B.Workplace.

Probably, I'm already looping into this and I cannot have a clear vision. I really need some tips, just to be sure that I'm not forgetting something.

In your opinion must I mark the field 'V_T16FG-FRGFG' (OverReqRel) or not? because I haven't 'flag' it, and I have both WS active and assigned.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Pedro.

Hi Pedro,

Check whether RFC destination set for your client or not. Go to transaction SWF_RFC_DEST and set the RFC destination. Then u will get workflow triggered.

Hope this helps.

Hi Anand,

We have Rel. 4.6C, therefore the system tells me that the transaction that you mentioned doesn't exist. I've checked the standard options for business WF and the RFC is set for sytem Client. Even so, It didn't work until I press into the 'Automatic customizing' button. and after running a job and a few minutes later it start to work.

Thanks.

Pedro.

Hello again,

I've check if the object BUS2005 was generated, and it was. I have tested the BUS2005 and with the release group and release code that are customized. It only returns to me one PR. But If I go to ME55 I can see more PR to be released. And, I still have no work item in workplace. Did I make the right procedure??? Anyone can help me?

Regards,

Pedro.
