How to load a customized SAPUI5 component when log in launchpad?

Dear experts,

does any one know how to load a UI5 component when login launchpad?

Below image shows the launchpad loading the component ZAR_SRVC_NEWS01 when I log in, it's for news feed tile.

As I know, it loads a UI component( BSP application ) only when we open an APP on the launchpad.

So how to achieve this?

You can develop the required functionality as a plugin and deploy the same to the front-end system. Then in launchpad designer create a catalog and in this create a target mapping to the component with the intent exactly as Shell-plugin. Assign this catalog to an existing PFCG role assigned to your user/create a new PFCG role and assign it to your user.

After doing this when you logon to the launchpad the plugin component will be loaded along with the launchpad itself.
